[ENDING AIDS] AN ODE TO OUR CHWs & MEDICAL FRONTLINERS

“One of the things that unites our experiences in our fight to end AIDS is the love and dedication for our role. Compassion and skill are part of our currency as medical frontliners and Community Health Workers (CHWs). As a community we are unique and fluent in the language of empathy and care. How we deliver care to those who are the most vulnerable in our communities remains central to our work for key populations. Here’s to the future of social care. #healthforall.”

On the occasion of World Health Day 2023, in conjunction with WHO’s 75th Anniversary, the Malaysian AIDS Council takes this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all community health care workers (CHWs) and medical frontliners working in the Ministry of Health Malaysia, related ministries, private and community healthcare facilities in Malaysia.

We cannot thank you enough for your contributions. Together we continue to work together in providing the best healthcare services to key populations in our community.
