Thursday, 30th March 2023 – The BAC Education Group is dedicated to transforming lives through education. Comprising 25 companies, its mission is to provide a complete education ecosystem that creates real impact by producing global graduates with skills that transcend cultures and geographic borders. Together with Dr Tan and Partners (DTAP) clinic (co-sponsors of the event) and the Make It Right Movement powered by BAC, they discussed the future of HIV prevention in a student workshop entitled Sexual Health: Breaking the Silence.
Students got the opportunity to learn, share, ask questions and connect with others in a safe and supportive environment, thus being open to discuss the following topics;

Speakers of the session included Dr Kaarthig Ganesamoorthy, MBBS (IMU), Cert. Men’s Health of DTAP Clinic, Ms Masumi Atul Parmar, Director of Programme Development of the Mind Matters Network and Dr Sheela Bai Pannir Selvam, MBBS ((J.I.P.M.E.R), M.MED (FAM. MED), Family Medicine Specialist from Klinik Kesihatan Cheras Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
Students were also educated with HIV prevention and treatment options through MAC’s interactive booth via the STI and HIV Kahoot! Quiz, in-person volunteer sign-ups, and a QR code setup to increase following on MAC’s online platform.
